CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR CREATIVE/WORKING PROCESS ?
My creative process: Usually, an idea stems from a gap or a need. Then I do a lot of research in archives or on online platforms to see if there are any interesting ideas out there. If not, I create an illustration to try to address or satisfy my own questions, and then comes the production phase.
HOW DOES YOUR ACTIVITY INFLUENCE THE WAY YOU DRESS ?
Since my days don’t follow a set routine and I spend most of my time going back and forth between my studio and client meetings—and since I’m constantly on the move,I prioritize comfort above all else when it comes to my outfits.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CLOTHES ?
I have an almost obsessive relationship with clothing. For me, identity starts there: in what we choose to wear. Given my lifestyle, where I’m constantly meeting new people in a professional setting, style is like a preface to me: the first impression I get of the person I’m meeting.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE CÈUCLE PIECE AND WHY ?
My favorite piece from Cèucle is the wide-leg pant, because it perfectly meets my three criteria for choosing clothes: practical thanks to its comfort, durable thanks to its fabric, and stunning thanks to its cut.
IF YOU HAD TO DESCRIBE CÈUCLE IN 3 WORDS ?
In three words: minimalism, comfort, elegance.
