the technique

For me, design feeds on technique and vice versa.
I can't draw/design a garment without at the same time thinking about how it will be patterned/fitted.
It's this constant back and forth between the two that pleases me the most, that drives me.
How to transform a technical constraint into a design asset?
How to optimize the cut, the assembly of a detail?
I need to patronize, assemble each new model myself, to "feel" it, correct it, start over, again and again...
I need to see in 3D, how a detail, a finish “lives”…
Understand what happens if I knock it over, turn it over, the other way around...
Play to divert it like children divert each object at hand.
