ABOU SÉGA

I am a source of ideas. These ideas revolve around clothing in general, and I also help certain creative professionals structure their projects. Keep in mind that I do what I like when the opportunity arises, when I feel like doing it, and that this can ta

CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR CREATIVE/WORKING PROCESS ?

Every day, I feed off what is happening around me, whether it be visual, auditory, olfactory, or tactile, as well as ideas and thoughts that come to me from conversations and reading. The idea is to mentally build up a set of multi-format references that I can draw on depending on the role I might have in a project. Specifically, these are photos, screenshots, links, notes, etc.It may seem disjointed, but I regularly browse through my various galleries and take notes using keywords. For the project itself, it all starts with a question I ask myself or a thought prompted by an interaction I've had. Then I try to come up with an answer or my perspective on how to resolve it. I spend a lot of time researching, learning, and questioning myself. That's my favorite part: resolving a question as such or the finished product interests me less than the process. At first, it was very straightforward and went through the editorial process. The more time passes, the more varied the formats become.

IS THERE A PARTICULAR PROJECT YOU'D LIKE TO SHARE WITH US ?

Not particularly. I like to say, “The project is the star!” I'm just a small cog in the wheel. Except when required for professional reasons, I've chosen to stop talking about what I do.

HOW DOES YOUR ACTIVITY INFLUENCE THE WAY YOU DRESS ?

In reality, I dress exactly how I want to: it's a game. It's an extension of my personality. I would say I operate more on mood. Sometimes I want to be efficient, so I literally dress the same way for several days, changing just one small detail. Other times, I want to be more rococo, shall we say... It must be said, I am lucky to work with beautiful people and in professional sectors where my way of dressing has been accepted (I didn't give them a choice either).

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CLOTHES ?

It's a fun hobby that takes up space.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE CÈUCLE PIECE AND WHY ?

Clearly, it's the Wide pants Chapter 3, I have several pairs. I have two in cotton, one in wool, and black, of course. I love these pants for their shape, their apparent simplicity, and their versatility.

IF YOU HAD TO DESCRIBE CÈUCLE IN 3 WORDS ?

Minimal. Versatile. Precise.
